ARH: Awards, Regulations & History Chair

Brother Districts: Grouping of districts that are assigned the same International Trustee.

D-F

D-Con: District Convention: D-Con is an annual event where all the clubs in the District elect new members to the District Board and celebrate the past year. Club and officer awards are also presented.

District: Grouping of clubs. We are the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan District. Other districts include Louisiana-Mississippi-tennessee, California-Nevada-Hawaii, and New England.

District Board: Board that oversees the district. Positions include Governor, Secretary, Treasurer, Bulletin Editor, Lieutenant Governors, Membership Development & Growth Chair, Service Chair, Awards, Regulations & History Chair, Convention Chair, Assistant Convention Chair, K-Family Outreach Chair, and Webmaster.

Division: Grouping of clubs within a district. There are seven divisions in W-UM: Capital, Chippewa, Metro, Northwoods, Southeast, Superior and Winnebago.

G-I

I-Con: International Convention: Similar to District Convention but on an international scale. Over 1,000 Circle K'ers from all over the US and beyond elect international officers, attend workshops, and have fun!

Interclub: Any activity (service project, social, etc.) in which at least four members from one club participate with at least four members from another club. If a club has your club's mascot, interclubbing is how you get it back.

International Board: Similar to District Board on an International level. It includes an International President, Vice President, and 9 International Trustees who serve 30 districts.

K-Family: A shorter way to say the Kiwanis Family

LSSP: Large Scale Service Project: Held before international convention each year, LSSP is a week-long service project.

M-O

MAC: Membership Awareness Conference: Held every October at Easter Seals Camp Wawbeek in Wisconsin Dells and attended by over 100 Circle K'ers from throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

MD&G: Membership Development & Growth Chair

MERP: Membership Education and Recruitment Program: A summer conference held in a different location each year for members throughout the district.

Sister Districts: Grouping of districts located near each other. Our sister districts are Illinois-Eastern Iowa, Indiana, and Missouri-Arkansas.

Spring Fling: The Spring Version of MAC. See also: MAC

24-Hour Service Project: Another event held in the Upper Peninsula. It is not a district sponsored event, but a lot of members throughout the district head up to the UP to enjoy 24 straight hours of service in Marquette, Michigan.

W-UM: Short for Wisconsin-Upper Michigan

WWG: Winter Weekend Getaway: A social weekend held each January somewhere in Upper Michigan that usually includes winter activities such as sledding, skiing, etc.
